We are happy to announce that “Last address” International project is officially starting its’ work in Georgia by installing its’ first memorial plate. It is in honor if an innocent victim of Soviet regime, Georgian engineer Konstantin Kandareli.
Kandareli was arrested on May 1st 1937 and secretly assassinated later on. For 20 years his family had no information about him. He was a professor of engineering in Georgian Polytechnic University, editor-in-chief in “Technique and labor” (“Техника и труд») newspaper. For the last 6 years of his life, from year 1931 till 1937, was the head of the Sergo Ordzhonikidze main machine building factory in Tbilisi.
